I sometimes eat here and sometimes take them home with me for later, but these giant cinnamon rolls never disappoint!

A classic sandwhich. Always served fresh and I enjoy it with some pepper on the side.

Biscuits
Their biscuits are delicious, especially with their homemade jelly. Every time we visit family in Santa Barbara, we stop there for our biscuit fix. Best staff.
Monte Cristo
You won't find a better Monte Cristo sandwich ANYWHERE❣️ Add their delicious raspberry jam, and it's pure perfection.
Homemade Cinnamon Roll
Stopped by Allison's Country Cafe in Ventura for the first time and had to try their cinnamon roll. It came out warm, super soft, and huge. The cinnamon flavor was perfect and the icing melted right into every bite without being too sweet. You can tell it's made fresh and homemade, which honestly made it even better. The whole cafe had such a cozy, welcoming vibe too. Definitely one of the best cinnamon rolls I've had in a long time and I'll absolutely be coming back next time I'm in Ventura.
Biscuits
the biscuits here are a must, and cannot be skipped. They remind me of when my grandma would make them, simple but always bring that comforting feeling.
Homemade Cinnamon Roll
The absolute best cinnamon roll I have ever tried! I came to Ventura once to visit and have been thinking of that cinnamon roll ever since, Affordable, comforting, and shareable. It was perfect.
Mexican Omelette
I stumbled on this wonderful little shotgun café that I've driven past for years, and honestly can't believe I waited so long to stop. The menu is packed with tempting choices, from specialty omelets to creative hot and cold sandwiches, plus plenty of à la carte options if you like to mix and match. I went with the Mexican omelet, and it ended up being one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. It was perfectly cooked and loaded with refried beans, avocado, cheese, and fresh toppings, so every bite was hot, flavorful, and far from the bland diner food you get at a lot of other places. The portion was huge—I couldn't even finish the whole thing. You also get your choice of sides, and I loved that they offered hash browns along with biscuits. The biscuits are not your average biscuit at all: they serve you two big, fluffy ones with whipped butter and a delicious raspberry jam that tastes homemade. Between the omelet and the sides, the portions are truly humongous, and you definitely get your money's worth. On top of the food, the café itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger. The staff is warm and friendly, always smiling and checking in to make sure you're taken care of, which really adds to the experience. If you've ever driven by and wondered if it's worth stopping, I'd absolutely recommend giving this place a try—you'll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.
Allison's Special
Had the Allison's Special this past weekend and it didn't disappoint! I had it with pancakes and my wife ordered with the Belgian waffle. Both were great and we will definitely be back when we're on the area! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
